Amazon news in April

Improved benefits for your new FBA products:
Amazon has increased incentives for FBA New Selection from March 1, 2023 to make it even easier to launch new products on Amazon. Brand owners also receive a 10% discount.
Brand owners who signed up with Brand Registry can now receive an average 10% discount instead of 5% on sales from their qualifying parent ASINs. For qualifying oversized ASINs, the discount is valid for up to 30 units for 90 days, and for qualifying standard-size ASINs, it's valid for up to 100 units for 120 days.
Benefits of more units and longer days:
The warehousing, liquidation, and refund benefits are now available for up to 100 units per parent ASIN for all eligible standard-size ASINs, instead of just 50. In addition, storage and refund benefits are extended from 90 to 120 days for any higher-level standard-size ASIN.
Pictures of various items of clothing that better represent Amazon buyers in the USA:
On March 31, 2023, Amazon began introducing new images on the description pages for some adult clothing to expand the representations of models and reflect our customers.
Since Amazon is for everyone, the images in our stores should show people with different backgrounds, similar to our customers. For a limited number of ASINs in the clothing category, this new feature adds images of models to the detail page without charging the seller more money.
New ways to report issues with images on product detail pages (USA):
As a result of frequent inquiries, Amazon has made it easier to report issues with the images on the product detail page.
You'll soon be able to choose from two new options if you have a problem with the product listing images and then report it to Seller Central:
“Remove images” makes it possible to report images on the detail page that do not comply with Amazon's product policies. With “Dispute main detail page image”, the case can be opened to investigate why the images are not displayed on the detail page. The new options enable Amazon's reseller support team to quickly and accurately investigate and resolve issues with images.
Fee adjustments from April 21 for Multi-Channel Fulfillment Canada (Canada)
Amazon has announced:

- On June 15, 2023, a surcharge for remote regions will be introduced for orders to Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

Multi-channel fulfillment solution improvements:
The following things have been improved to promote business success on Amazon in the future:
- Multi-channel fulfillment orders are now delivered at no additional cost and in simple packaging.
- Our IT security systems have been certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013, which underlines our commitment to the highest level of data security and compliance.
